PTC.Setup Help

The PTC PartsLink and/or CounterPart Special Edition product check box(es) must be selected to proceed with the installation.

To view Help contents, use the horizontal and vertical scroll bars. Similarily, you can view Help in a new window by right-clicking in the Help window and selecting the Open Frame in New Window option. You can resize the window by dragging the borders.


Before You Begin

Before you begin, be certain to read the Read This First (RTF) document that is included with your shipment. The RTF summarizes important installation information, including platform requirements and operational issues.

The RTF document also is available in PDF format at http://www.ptc.com/cs/doc/index.htm. You must enter your PTC Online Support user name and password to access the document. If you are not registered with the PTC Support Database, follow the instructions at the same URL to obtain an account.


Prerequisites

Prior to installing PTC PartsLink, you must have installed and configured a Web server and servlet engine. For complete details about the required products and installation and configuration instructions, see the PTC PartsLink Administrator's Guide.
