This screen provides all general options that are available to create shortcut preferences and modify environment settings for your Windows system. The shortcuts and environment setting preferences are applicable to Windows only.
Shortcut Location Choose the location or locations of your shortcut icon. You can start the application from your desktop, from the Start menu, or from a Programs menu folder or any combination these locations.
Program Folder Identifies the name of the Programs menu folder to use. This option is only used when you select the Program folder check box. You can specify the name of a new folder or you can select an existing folder from the drop-down list.
Startup Directory Identifies the name of the startup directory to use. You define the location from which the application will start (for example, C:\users\default). Enter a directory name or click the folder icon to use the Directory Browser navigational tool.
The %WT_HOME% and %ORACLE_HOME% variables are appended to the SQLPATH variable. The following selection options determine the creation of the SQLPATH variable as a system or as a user environment variable:
