Creating JAR files Using PTC.Setup

Select the JAR files that are to be generated by PTC.Setup.

The JAR files are created in the Windchill ProjectLink codebase directory (for example, /opt/ptc/Windchill/codebase/wt.jar).

This PTC.Setup dialog box is available when two conditions are met: the Windchill ProjectLink product requires JAR files and the Windchill ProjectLink product is installed with PTC.Setup.

Note: If you choose not to use this option, you can generate the JAR files manually using the MakeJar utility. See the Windchill ProjectLink Installation and Configuration Guide for instructions.
