Configuring Your Workgroup Manager
Workspace
Specify the workspace configuration
names that are to be saved in the "site" located preference file and
choose the permissions.
The preference or .ini files are
located in the WT_HOME/codebase/cfg/site directory.
Specify values
for the following parameters and set the permissions.
- Project Name—Enter the Windchill project name. This project
name has been created in a cabinet that is to be used for new workspace
objects.
- Part Lifecycle—Accept the default Windchill Part Lifecycle name
that has been created in the System cabinet to be used
for new workspace objects.
- Document Lifecycle—Accept the default Windchill Document
Lifecycle name that has been created in the System cabinet to be used
for new workspace objects.
- Part View—Enter the Windchill Part View name to be used
for new workspace objects (for example, Engineering).
Each
configuration entry can be set to read/write or read-only. The
permissions determine whether or not a user can change the values
at runtime.
