Define Installation Components

Define the components and subcomponents of your installation.

If you want to view descriptions about a specific component or subcomponent, highlight the field. Information appears in the Description field of the main window.

Installation Directory

Enter the directory where the __INSTBLE__ software is to be installed.

Note: The default installation directories are C:\ptc\WindchillDBTool on Windows and /opt/ptc/WindchillDBTool on UNIX systems. Do not select a directory name that contains spaces.

Platforms

Select the types of the machines that are to access this installation directory. PTC.Setup detects the hardware platform of your machine and lists that machine type as the default.

Components

Select the corresponding check box to install a product listed in the Components section.

• Oracle Configuration Utility — The database utility that creates a database, user schema, and tables for __INSTBLE__.
  
  

Disk Space

The available disk space for the installation directory specified is shown in the (Disk Space) Available field.

The disk space required to install the components selected is shown in the (Disk Space) Required field.
